Job Responsibilities

Do you want to do something meaningful and have fun at work this summer? We offer you a summer job that makes a difference, with meaningful tasks and wonderful colleagues.

We offer work within elderly care and home help services, and we are now looking for you who are interested in working on a scheduled shift during the summer. The work will be scheduled during night hours, approximately 22:00–07:00. We are also looking for you who are willing to work exclusively as an hourly substitute and be booked when needs arise in the operations.

You will work with providing good care and social support to our users, helping and supporting them in their daily lives to promote functional ability. You should be flexible, service-oriented, positive, and responsible, with the ability to make independent decisions and work well in a team. You will have colleagues nearby during the night, but there is also independent work, so you need to be confident working autonomously.

Being able to express yourself well in speech and writing is a very important part of the job, which means you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language. Technological development is important to us, and within home help services, we use keyless locks, mobile phone planning, medication dispensers, and night cameras, so good digital maturity is required.

We offer you an introduction and guidance before starting work.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Nursing Program or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer is desirable, but not a requirement.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• A Category B driver's license is required in certain operational areas.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to perform care documentation, receive medication delegation, and communicate with users.
• Experience from similar operations is meritorious.
• The applicant should have a professional and pleasant manner and focus on the individual.
• We place great importance on your personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Employment Type: Summer Job / Holiday Work.
Duration: 11 days – 3 months.

To be eligible for employment within support, care, and social services, you must present a valid personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website www.skatteverket.se (https://www.skatteverket.se). In your application, you must state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.

You must also present a valid extract from the Police's criminal records register www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se) (not older than 6 months).

Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance, and after presentation of a criminal record extract. The above certificates must be presented before employment becomes actual.
